Just got them in the mail today. I went with theirs; everywhere I've found says they're very close to Billstein 5100s if not better. Everyone that has purchased them seems to like them and have had no issues.

You get adjustable coilovers for $500.. can't beat that.

As much as I'd like to not have to deal with it, and just pay a shop to do it...I'm going to end up doing it this weekend. That way I can ensure it's done correctly and also save a few bucks.

I'm going to have to buy some taller jackstands though, after getting my new tires, I max my current stands out height-wise and barely have room to pull the wheel off.

Ha! One purchase always leads to more! Yeah, I wanted to do the same but all my 'help' are booked the next several weeks so may do myself or just bring to a shop. Would love to save the money but don't want it sitting there for several weeks when it could be done. Let me know how it goes. Post some before / after pics!

Are those set at 3"? The threads look closer together than mine but it's probably just the angle.

Hey, I was just looking at the install guide on the above. Came across this:

    14. After installation an alignment must be performed by an experienced technician. It is recommended that you have the vehicles alignment checked immediately after installing this kit and after getting new tires.

I know after the new coilovers since you're changing up front but after new tires? A new one to me.

See, same for me. I'm going to put on the new coilovers, get the alignment and see where I stand and what size I can run. But didn't plan on doing again after tires.

Got the FBG coilovers installed. I can actually fit my head above the tire in the front now. Everything's working well and my alignment numbers are great.
25" in the front and 26" in the back - perfect.

Hello, so I was thinking about purchasing the toytec eibach adjustable coilover, but after seeing this thread I'm kinda hesitant. The fatbobs people were talking about above are the same price and they are adjustable. If I keep it under 3", would I still need to upgrade the UCA? Any issues with install or problems with the fatbobs?

No issues with them so far. I'm at 3" and didn't need UCAs, my caster is slightly off but still very much in the middle green portion of the alignment diagram that they print out. Toytec is overhyped in my opinion. I purposely go over bumps faster than I should and they perform great.

My coilovers gave me an additional 3.25" up front. Now, my front was lower than normal, right now up front I'm measuring 24.5". but I'm running stock UCAs. I'm about to put new tires on. I was waiting for the coilovers and alignment first. Wasn't sure if I could fit 285/65/20 on stock wheels, but the guy at the tire shop that does the aligning, install their coilovers took a look and said yea, no problem. Can't wait to see the outcome.

Yeah, I went with their brand and not the Bilstein's they offer after reading and everyone saying they were just as good or better in their opinion. So far, thumbs up!

Looking good. You put anything in rear? I still have to order me some shackles for rear, riding nose up a slight bit right now.

Yup I went with Toytec shackles set on 1". Looking back I probably would've went with a total chaos shackle..I think they're 3/4". The Toytec shackles have a great finish to prevent rust and they're beefy but they don't fit correctly on the 1.5" setting...they rub the bed bolts.

I think you'll like them. Love mine. Gotta get some shackles for the back and then tires and I'll be ready to roll. Will post up some pics once done.

Put the lift on last night, took about an hour, probably would have been faster, but beer was involved. Got wheels and tires on today, I'll post after I give her a bath

Yeah, I was going to put mine on but figured they'd just sit there. Call the dealership, 550, called a local custom shop, 475. Brought them to my local tire shop where I get all my tires, super good people, 190. Done deal.

Got my tires, just need some shackles and then will post a pic.

20190824_114835.jpg So, after reading this entire post I want to shoot myself. Lol. I ordered the separate part package by Eibach from Toytec. Just spent hours on the install. I finally realized why I was having so much trouble getting the bottom eye to line up... the damn upper ball joint is rubbing the spring! Even after the vehicle is sitting on it's own weight.
I have the springs set on the second notch up (supposed to be 3" with the "Pro-lift" springs and "Pro Truck shock"). It's only giving about 2", but that's not what is bothering me... the ball joint contact is unacceptable.

    -2003 Tundra SR5 TRD
    -Diff drop kit installed
-set of 285/70R17 on 2018 Tacoma wheels that I will also have to change because they rub the UCA which is also misinformation from a Toyota dealer website, but that's a problem that can wait, ha ha.

Please let me know if I am doing something wrong or if I need to contact either Toytec or Eibach.
I really wish I had seen this post before.

I would probably contact Toytec. Do you have any pictures further back? Is the spring seated correctly? Is the other side the same issue?

Yes I do have pictures of OE parts before install. I had a local 4x4 shop do the coilover assembly with new strut mounts from Moog.
Both sides have the same rub...

Sorry I didn’t mean before the install. I meant a picture further back with all the suspension components in it, not just the rub.
