Welcome. I have a super White 2019 CM and of course love it. But, every time i see Blue, it makes me wonder what could have been... i still love it every time i see it.

But the super white is working for me as well

    Welcome from Northern Virginia.

Your new truck looks awesome, but I have to admit......so did your RW. I have a 2012 (same color as yours) and I love it. Not quite ready to trade it in yet. Curious what lift you were running on it.

Ready lift 3-1. I didn’t want to trade it in. But the winters in Maine aren’t nice. I had a broken coil spring from plowing. Ebrake pivot was beyond rusted. Cable was ready to snap. Tail gate was starting to rust. A/c started to not blow cold. Just one thing after another. And they told me they would give me $20k for a trade. I couldn’t pass it up. Plus they are doing $3000 off tundras right now. And got another $4500 off for being an employee. So I decided to pull the trigger.

Did you get a 38 gallon tank in your new Tundra, that's definitely and option I would take advantage of... oh, and welcome from Northwest Arkansas!

Mine has 61k miles on it, in great shape and paid off so I'm having a tough time trading it in. BUT.......with you getting $20k for it along with the rebate it's making it hard. I really love the Cement color. Kinda leaning towards a lift and tires and hang on to the truck a little longer.

That RW looks awesome (as the new will I’m sure). What tire size did you have on the RW? Did you cut anything ?

35x12.50. Didn’t have to cut anything. You couldn’t fit a finger between the tires and upper control arm tho. Never had a problem at all tho.

Congrats on a great deal on a really nice truck. Some fantastic looking trucks. Hard to believe they could be that rusty underneath, but I lack perspective since it seldom snows in Texas. :D

Great to have a Master Tech aboard. I hope you'll have the time to stay involved here with good tech advice.

Welcome from the Texas Hill Country.

Got the bed rails installed and tonneau cover on. Truxedo low pro. Best ever in my opinion. Have them on both my trucks. Got the windows tinted. And got the tow mirrors installed. 8991CE09-A4F3-4227-A501-BA8656B0A027.jpg808892B1-2801-4D3B-85EA-FC192B54F2DF.jpg

What do you do with the other wheels and tires, keep them or sell them? Also, is that a roll up tonneau cover?

The truck is going to be incredible. Also own a Sport here! Keep the updates coming?

Would you mind sharing a professional opinion?

I own a 2019 TRD Sport. Running 285/70r18 tires (33.6”). What is your take on re-gearing?

I live in the west, no rust issues here. Would like to drive the truck for 20 years. Tow 2-3 times per year and will put 10K miles a year on it. My concern is transmission life, nothing more. What would you do in my shoes? Thanks for the perspective!

I just bought and picked up my 2019 Tundra SR5 Crew Max and went with the Magnetic Gray, and now I'm totally destroyed!! That Cavalry Blue is amazing!!

I hear what your saying about the Tran, but rest assured it will either go forever or fail at some point, I had one go well past 300k miles and not one issue, and another at 111k miles Torque Converter went and I had to put a brand new transmission in, honestly not the worst expense but not the best either, 4k later but you get 100k 4year warranty with the new Transmission.

Welcome, nice truck and choice of color. I was on the fence about putting my old pro grill on or get a new model pro grill. I'm liking the new one after seeing it some more.
