Teaser pic of the uniball upper adapter I purchased and my custom one on the lower is tacked together. The upper is just a Toyota uniball adapter from I think all pro or trail gear and it's stated as for a Tacoma or 4runner but they use the same upper ball joint. It does however fit in the spindle by hand so I'll probably be adding some interference so it's not just a c clip holding it in.

Oh and it has a recess for what I'm assuming is a socket head bolt or a smaller misalignment than I'm running. Looks like I go hunting for a socket head 3/4" bolt tomorrow.

I forgot to add that the inner ball joint where it threads into the steering rack is 18mmx 1.5. I was trying to find this for a good 30 minutes and couldn't see anything so I just took the inner down and matched it up. Just an fyi for anyone making their own heim steering.

    18mm x 1.5

Lots of nice rigs in here. Just started my search for a 1st gen as I think it looks the best, may not be the most powerful but to me it's about right. Going to add it to the stable. Looking at getting a 05-06 dbl cab that blue color, black or white. I've already got a silver Tacoma so that's out.

Thats a thing of beauty. I can't wait til my black 19 has the same vibe. Btw, that dirt looks like you're close to Reno. You in Tahoe?

Possibly, depends on the demand, but I sure hope we can. It looks like the 1st gen guys are a little more hardcore wheelers than the 2nd and 3rd gen guys. I know there is a shortage of 1st gen stuff on the market.
Right now we are concentrating on the Colorado and 5th gen runner. We still need to get the 3rd gen tundy sliders tested on more trucks to see how they fit other models and possibly the 2nd gen. Small company so it takes time to get some test vehicles in and everything worked out. Lots of work and not enough time.

I hear ya. There is definitely a demand for sliders and front bumpers. You guys are in SC, right? I would offer up my truck for a test vehicle but we’re on different coasts.

That has been my favorite color ever (my 2002 was Thunder Gray Metallic). My wife used to call it "Shark Skin Gray" which I think was more accurate than the real name it shimmers depending on lighting conditions, similar to shark skin (if you've ever seen a pair of shark skin boots)...I wish the 2005-2006 DC came in that color.

We would make it with our flare and angles it kinda sets us apart from the rest and makes them easier to spot in the midst of all the "square" bumpers on the market.
