I upgraded my XM to the premium package but my channels stop at 235 (should go to the 400s). Is it because of the radio or something else. I sent a signal to refresh the radio but no luck.

I'm at work now but I'll give them a call back and see what's wrong. I wasn't sure if our radios could go up that high because I read in an old Taco forum their radios weren't capable of the higher channels due to bandwidth issues.

Could be the case, I don't know that answer, but hope in the end you find out and they get you your money back for the amount of channels you are not getting! Good luck!

Just renewed, premium $240 yr. $120 6mths or $20 monthly.
You can haggle with them and get %5-10 off.

Will have to check on number of channels, 400 seems very high.

It is because the radios that Toyota puts in the Tundra are XM only. SiriusXM treats their 2 sets of satellites differently and only Sirius radios get the high number channels. Complete bullshit and the reason that I didn't renew for my Tundra.

Just checked, 223 channels in 2015 Silverado, need to confirm that total.

Same here, Tahoe only has 223 XM channels. I renew every 5 months for around $30.

If you're paying more than $6 a month for premium you're getting ripped off.

^^ x2. You have to call and cancel every 5 months, they will offer 5 months for around $30 to keep you, their final deal usually. I have done this going on 3 years now. If they eventually say no i will just cancel.

Exact same situation in my 2013 Tundra only up to 235, I transferred my Sirius/XM all access to my Tundra but 235 highest channel. I contacted Sirius and they said it was the factory radio not their service and that's true because it was OK in the other vehicle.

Same here, 235 . The guy at Sirius said it was due to limitations with my equipment. He gave me a Full Channel start up subscription for 12 months. around $11 a month. On the Tundra Blog one person said that Toyota was replacing equipment free of charge. No confirmation of that claim.

Very frustrating. To go beyond 235, I have to pull up on phone app and stream the Auxiliary feed.

XM select for 60 bucks a year, plus fees, so 77 total.
