So a weird thing happened yesterday on my commute into work. I was in stop and go traffic for a while with the ac on (like any other day). Noticed at one point white "smoke" starting coming out of the top vents. No smell at all. It went away once I turned off the AC. Engine temp and oil pressure was fine. Turned it back on a few seconds later and no white "smoke". Used the AC on the entire way home yesterday and this morning with no issue...

Any idea what would cause this?

If this happened when it was warm w/ high humidity out side then this can happen occasionally

very high humidity and heat between a/c compressor cycles this can happen. will also briefly happen when you shut off the a/c. this happens more often down south. i never get this anymore being up north since i moved from georgia.

Water in the atmosphere (humidity) trying to condense in the air due to the temperature drop coming out of the vents. You will see this a lot on airplanes when they land in a hot country.

Some of the best convos I have are with old farts. I suppose that’s good considering I’m rapidly encroaching into their territory.
