@Mstudt posted when it was live and like I said it was only from 6/24 to 6/30. Sorry you missed it! But maybe you can hit them up and see if they will still honor it since you were one of the top on the list. Never hurts to ask.

I must’ve misunderstood. I thought once they added your name you were good. I was waiting to get an email or something

Ya I am not entirely sure why the names were listed. I think they just wanted to get a head count to see how many people were interested.

I participated in the group buy but my order is still “processing.” And over the 4th RCI had a 15% discount almost the same as group buy. Wondering if I should cancel the “group buy” order that is not yet done processing. My first participation in a group buy, but wondering what the real point is.

What do you mean processing? Where did you see that? I received an e-mail confirming my order but I have not heard anything otherwise. I called on Monday and they said with the group buy they are at 2 weeks for skids and I believe they said about 4 weeks for skids. Once they ship then you get another e-mail confirming the tracking info.

On the RCI web site, it has an account. I can’t recall how it connected to the group buy, but it is the same order. They told me about the same thing, almost a week ago. I ordered skid plates only.

Sorry for not getting on here sooner!

The list is generated strictly to gauge interest. I'll keep adding names to the list until the GB officially starts, but not after that. All names on the list get tagged or mentioned, and that should send you a notification. This is the easiest way to reach all the members that were interested.

Yeah Mike for some reason I didn’t get a notification. I’ll try to wait for the next one I guess. Thanks for chiming in

It's most likely something in your "alert preferences" in your account settings. I'm sure we'll have another GB on here, but not sure when.

I received my front skid 2 weeks ago. It is an awesome piece of manufacturing.

The wait continues for my sliders :)

Anyone get the new sliders yet? I'm interested to see the ones without the top plate.

Ok, got the A-arms and transmission skid from RCI. Both need some modification to fit with the stock TRD PRO Skid. In order to make the A-Arms fit, you need to cut about a 1.5 x 1 inch piece out of the stock skid. See pictures below.
    20190728_182616.jpg 20190728_182620.jpg 20190728_182549.jpg

The RCI transmission skid has two U shaped holes in it that slide over the bolts for the front skid. But those U-shaped holes are not wide enough, as Toyota felt it necessary to sleeve the bolts they use for the front skid into a bushing. No idea why. You'll need to widen the U-shaped holes to 18mm. See pictures.

Got the call this morning that my sliders were in. Made the 15 minute drive and now they are in the shop floor waiting for my next day off to install. They look awesome sitting on the pallet.

The sliders look great, but when I went to sort the hardware I got a little confused. I've got nine of those small bolts, I expected an even number to split in half for the two sides, and then one of the online pictures has six of the large bolts holding it on but I only have five per side. Has anyone else mounted them up yet?

I did not get sliders, but some of my skids were missing washers and had to get em at my local Ace Hardware...

Those are interesting looking backing plates too. Are they intended to provide clearance for interfering hardware? The pictures on the RCI website don't really show anything in the way but it may be a lack of lighting or contrast.
