Taking the tank skid down does help. Almost mandatory.

All the liner has been sprayed. You can smell it from outside.

Attached is the rough draft of our 2nd/3rd gen rock slider install guide. Being a rough draft theres likely grammar errors, spelling mistakes and omissions. Feel free to provide feedback as it will only help make it better.

That one that can’t make up his mind is me. I just read your pm @mac11 sorry I wasn’t more clear. I was leaning towards the standard two top plates. Let’s keep it at type 4 kickout with two separate top plates per your current measurements

Thanks Mac. If I'm lucky I will try the instructions out this week, if not it'll be a couple weeks.

Sliders came in without a hitch. They are a beast to move around manually in the crate!

    Thanks
    John

All powder coated sliders have been completed and will be delivered to powder Monday.

Bare steel will be completed Monday and dropped on the shipping crates and sent out before the holiday.

Well I got mine in... sadly two things stand out:

    1. My crate was pretty fucked up. Minimal damage it seems, so I will go with it, but still a bummer.

    2. I went to install this evening, and all of my HW is 1/2", no 5/8" bolts as the instructions indicate. Since *All* of mine are wrong, I have a feeling this is an issue others will have with a wrong batch getting boxed up.

I reached out to Mac to try and get some replacements in. The wait continues :( .....

Hey @mac11, I was part of the first group buy and I just opened my hardware box for the first time. I didn’t receive any nuts, bolts, or washers in the box with the backing plates.

Your backing plates were coated? Mine are just bare metal, which I thought was a bit cheap....

I recieved my rock sliders today. Sliders were well wrapped and hardware was included ina protected box.

Wow! Massive, yet like a fabricated piece of functional art.

Mac and his shop builds some great stuff.

Hi All, Is there a set of installation instructions available for the sliders. I know the basics, but I want use any tricks or tips to make sure all is done properly.

PS - I’ve been painting mine, so I’m getting to know every nook and cranny, and man these sliders are super stout!
