Gang, Considering a digital media receiver install but am concerned about the angle of the dash (2008 DC) . I checked with Crutchfield and their trim kits are not angled to compensate. If I purchase a shallow unit like Alpine's iLX-W650 (only 2-13/16" deep) will I be able to mount the unit angled back towards the drivers seat or at least square to the center console?
How have those of you with screen installs dealt with this issue?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

2010 DC. The bezel is now flush & the dash sits properly after I got the clips that were missing.

E30c Thanks, so although your bezel is flush with the dash on both edges is your Pioneer unit tilted towards your drivers seat? If not do you notice any reduction in resolution viewing it from your angle?

My unit is a full Stereo/DVD/NAV and is very deep. It sits in line flush with the dash. I would not want it tilted towards me and I would think that would cause issues opening/closing the face to insert & remove SD cards & disks. It was hard to get it in far enough to sit properly thanks to it's depth & all the wires back there.

Yours might be able to sit pointed toward the driver seeing as it has no door & is much shallower.
