I am trying to find the little retainer clip that goes on the inner cv side of the front axle shaft. It's the one that is just holding the CV to the axle by it's spring pressure. I took my CV axle apart and got the extended shafts in there but the little wire c shaped clip destroyed itself on the way out. I think it caught the edge of the pipe I was using to slide hammer the factory axle out of the inner cv.

Anyway if someone can help with a part name or where I should look I'd appreciate it. I've searched around and can't find it online. I'll post pics in a minute.

    Thanks!

No I don't see it. I'm actually an idiot the clip/ring thing is on the hub side. It's what keeps the axle in the hub side CV. I completely forgot to take a picture while I was at the shop today. Too many things on my mind I suppose.
