Once my fuel gauge gets to 1/4 tank I start getting nervous and look to fill-r-up.

I've run 70 miles past warning light and then filled up with 35.5 gallons.

Yep, the pump charged me for 4 extra gallons that there was NO way it would fit.
I think it was about $3 a gal at that time, so about $12 too much.
They gave me the money back, only after a short explanation of how this certain type of physics didn't work for my wallet.

Toyota tech told me awhile back that there didn’t use to be road side assist. So Toyota made the computer say you were empty with 8 gal ish left in the tank. That way there wouldn’t be Toyota’s sitting in the side of the road next to all the fords out of gas. Plus a good thing is that fuel is what keeps that fuel pump cooled down. Keeping the pump cool prevents prematurely wearing it out. My norm driving in city I avg 15 so essentially after the light comes on with a dte of 0 I could go another 120 miles city driving before I have hazards on waiting for AAA

I’ve put 20.472 gallons in my 26 gallon tank. The low fuel light came on, so had about a 6-gallon reserve, but too close for me, especially while towing!

Put 37 gallons once.. engine died and I coasted to the exit.. let it sit and it started and drive the last ½ mile to the station.

I've put in a little over 34 gallons in a few times. I work out of town a little for work and can make a full tank last all week. I like to leave on my drive home for the weekend on a full tank in case something happens and would regret not having a full tank. Screenshot_20190718-192041.jpg
