Those rotory things work better than the broom one. If your stuff is super dirty, finer nozzle, like 10 degree or 15 degree will clean deeper.

If you aren't afraid of chemicals, masonry cleaner is excellent at cleaning concrete, it's a lower percentage of muriatic acid. This will get almost any stain out of concrete with minimal work. It will also clean the snot out of grout in tile. Just make sure to sprinkle baking soda on after words to neutralize the acid and rinse well.

I used the rotating circular one with decent success on some pretty badly soiled concrete, though it was painted. Definitely get a good detergent to help loosen up the gunk before washing

The rotating disc ones work pretty well. I used it on my deck and it made short work of it. I think I'll be doing my garage this fall with it. The skirt around the disc really keeps the mess down too

Edit. I second the idea for muriatic acid. Works great and will surprise you on how well it lifts stains.

Make sure you clear any loose debris. They love throwing rocks and other things, especially if you pump 10,000psi through them.

If you do use an acid, especially one as strong as muriatic, just be careful. Its rough stuff and will affect anything metal or natural stone pretty aggressively.

I doubt i'll use acid, just good ol' water pressure. I'm not going for pristine, just get the old mildew.

I have installed several Iron oxidation reduction systems on well water sourced irrigation systems, because the homeowners were sick of the iron staining their drive and walkways. This one has a 13 x 54 tank, there is also a 10 x 54 version.

Oh old mildew? Grab some bleach. It'll help if the water pressure alone doesn't get it

I had one that quit after a week. It had a shielded bearing in it instead of a sealed one. Bought a new $15 SKF bearing and it's been running since.
