So last year was driving back home to Chicago with the family and pulling our camper in Michigan through a construction zone when some guy didn’t look and pulled out in front of me. I ended up t- boning him and totaled out his car while doing some heavy damage to my truck. I only had about 6-7k miles on her, so I was pretty pissed. Construction crew was on site and had a bobcat so they were able to pull the bumper off my tire so I can drive the rest of the way home (these trucks are beasts!) I brought it to a Toyota body shop where I got all new no aftermarket parts put on, but she also had to go on the frame straightener. So my problem now is I’ve brought it back to the body shop about 5 times now for a squeak that keeps returning from the radiator mount area. Each fix lasts from a couple of days to no longer than a month. I’m concerned that the frame is still off a hair and this will be a permanent issue, so would I be wrong in fighting for a frame? Would like to hear some thoughts. C769AA40-F807-446F-9CC0-6B33EF01CFBE.jpg3BA0620E-C06E-4A73-9828-6D4BCB7AB2FB.jpgBD6FAA54-F8A8-403F-8223-06537102A508.jpg

Damn, I be pissed too. I would fight for a frame. My insurance has a lifetime warranty on all the repairs if I use their approved shops. Ive had to go back for a new bumper on my wifes car when they couldnt get it to line up. Finally told them i need a whole new one.

Five times is very inconvenient, so I would argue that you want it completely re done right this time with a new frame. Just sucks having a molested truck.

:rant:The thing that really pissed me off is Michigan is a no fault state, so even though the other guy admitted fault and got ticket, it’s my insurance that has to do the repairs

Yeah, me neither till I had to go through this nightmare. Think Michigan, Florida, and maybe one more state does this. Really sucks when someone can take out your truck and doesn’t really affect them that much.

Condenser mount bushing, put a little lube and you'll be set

Hello - New to this forum and I have a 2012 Crew Max 2WD and no suspension modification. I too have a front end squeak that I hear going over bumpy (paved) roads and sometimes when I slam the door. I have also heard it closing the hood (slamming the hood?). I think it might be the transmission cooler mounts or radiator mounts. Can anyone suggest a thread that might show photos of these mounts and what they used to lube them? Thanks!

Spray some lube on those rubber isolating bushings. Same thing here with the AC condenser bushing noise, sprayed it and all gone.
