If it was a functional hood scoop, then I think it looks good, but since it's not I think it accentuates the fake scoop and don't like it...hah. I'm not a fan of fake beadlocks either so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

While I have never ben a fan of the stick on scoops, my 2008 silver sky Taco had the one molded into the hood. Damn thing would blind you driving into the sun at certain angles. I put a flat black decal over it to solve that problem.
My opinion of your black scoop doesn't matter. I didn't like it when it was blue either. :D

I think it looks good. Makes the hood pop. I would have went red myself.

Pondering doing the hood scoop black on my white sport, think yours looks good. Do you have any pictures from the front of the truck?

3268C381-E080-4871-8463-DB0DDF8A059A.jpg I think that color is to nice to cover up. I think it would look better with the tacoma TRD Pro type of decal that goes around the hood scoop. But everyone has their own opinion. Do what you want to do and screw what other think.

Thanks everyone. Going to keep it on. I do like it and like someone stated before, it does stop the sun from shining off the hood.

Only opinion that really counts is your own. Not for me, but that's why all trucks don't look the same.

Ties in with bumper trim. I like it... And that's saying something as I generally don't care for the 2nd scoop.

I like variety, uniqueness, and that breaks up the pow of blue in a good way. Not sold on the matte, but maybe in person I'd think otherwise. 8/10
