Just replaced my ‘18 grill for a ‘19 Pro.

You need the grill from here https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.c...trd-pro-grille-magnetic-gray-1g3-531010c070b0

And the grill garnish. Two options
    1) pay an exorbitant amount of money here https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.c...trd-pro-grille-sensor-cover-5314134010?c=az0x

    2) pay $100 here (this is what I did) love it. https://www.***************/auto

Swap is easy. You will need to transfer the inner part of the pro grill to your existing cement surround.

@ND90 it relocates the TSS sensor to another spot in front of the radiator vs. being attached to the grill itself. Sounds like some folks are doing that then swapping in a ‘17 Pro Grill (‘17 grill doesn’t have tss sensor mount hence the need for the bracket)

I swapped my chrome SR5 grille and bulge out for the Pro. It was very simple.

That small rectangle underneath the ‘Toyota’ just kills me. I just can’t bring myself to do it.

If you do change out your grill, just remember the sensor may need to be recalibrated by the dealer.

But gotta love the 2019 TRD PRO grill. This what I did on my 2014 without a TSS sensor to cover that location. A $40 OEM Tacoma sensor cover and time in the garage.

The part number is 5314135060, I shopped around for an OEM one for a while to find it at that price.

What did you use to make the grille gold? love the black and gold old school Toyota vibe. I have a 19 black limited, and how do you keep your truck that clean looking??

I removed the front Toyota lettering (As well as all my other emblems) cleaned all of the adhesive off of the back of the lettering and grill with Dupli-color Grease and Wax remover. Then wiped them off with a clean cloth and painted them with Rust-oleum in Antique Brass Metallic. After the paint dried i put a thin layer of gloss on them and put 3m indoor/outdoor double sided adhesive tape on the emblems and reinstalled them.

Thanks on the clean truck compliment, I feel like it is always dirty but the only thing I do is park it in the garage and get it hand washed every other week.

I think you should do, it will look good, and if you don’t like it then take it off. It is just adhesive.

I got the ares sensor cover and it absolutely would not work, I got it second hand so not much I can do. I went ahead and coughed up the cash to the oem and all is working flawlessly now.

Flawlessly. I was told that lifting would mess up the TSS and it didn't. I was told the relocation bracket would affect the cruise controll and it didn't.
