Got up early this morning and removed the front and rear seats to install sound deadening to entire cab.
Also installed a layer of insulation. Kind of like the shuffle some window shades or made from.
I have no idea how carpet is hooked under console. I used bungee cords to hold carpet up out of the way .
A few weeks ago I installed two layers of sound deadener in doors and new infinity speakers.
I got in touch with James at tech12volts and ordered two jl 10" subs and box.
    And a JL 5 channel amp .
Can't wait for it all to come in.
A few pics of install . And one whith everything back together.

I'm dreading doing this when I get around to upgrading my stereo. Good on you for cowboying up and knocking it out.

The doors made a huge difference in sound .
I have series 40 flowmaster exhaust . And was hopeful it would knock down on the drone I get at about 63 mph.
And hopefully the insulation will help on heat.
I have the same insulation in my metal work shop . And it makes a big difference.
    And maybe help on noise.
Not sues how much noise will come from under console. I didn't put anything under there. But may when I run power wires for amp.
I haven't driven it cent's I put stuff in this morning.
But from what doors did I'm hopeful.
Also put it under rear window. And reinstalled the oem insulation sheet.
I was surprised The floor had so much so much foam in it .
Completely under rear seat maybe 4" deep.
And a huge piece in front floors against the firewall to form a slope to floor.
I just ran sound deadening over top of it .

I also built these last week.
Drilled holes to bolt down to floor .
I welded nuts to flat bar for rear seats to bolt to.
Use a mill to slot holes so seat can be adjusted from 1 to 4 inches forward.
    To accommodate sub box.
But after talking to James may not use them . His box has full size 10" subs and fits behind seat with no mods.

Did you just put it over the vapor barrier?

I did a layer inside door on backside of door skin.
I removed the thin vapor barrier and threw it away to get sheets inside door.
And put layer where barrier was.
And ran door latch cables through that.

Went back outside and pulled rear carpet back.
And installed 1/2" thick soft foam rubber over the entire rear section.
Wife and I went out to eat and drove truck.
It makes a big difference having entire truck done . As apposed to factory .
I lost count of how many sheets I bought .
But it was in the $400 range .
To me it was worth the cost .
I will say doing the floors doesn't seem as impressive as when I first did the doors .
Maybe the doors were such a change from nothing .

The doors sound more "Solid" like they should have from the factory after sound deadener is applied.

Not sure how much weight it added to each door .
But your right about the way they close.
It's like the doors on an old Delta 88 my owned back in the day.
They shut solid like they should have

I did doors and rear wall behind seat. This alone was a great improvement. I used an old half deflated basketball to help smooth out the sound mate. Worked great

I'm glad I bought the little roller deal the audio shop suggested .
It really saved a lot of trouble smoothing out stuff.
The thin aluminum backing on deadening tore my hands up with cuts everywhere .
It's a lot quieter in cab now .
Most of the noise coming in now seems to be through rear window .
Not much I can do about that though.
Unless I covered it in sound deadening lol

Do you still have these if you aren’t using them? What’s the size of the bolts? I could always make them larger if I needed them to be.

I have a 2nd Gen Tundra Double Cab and would love to move the seat up a little for a sub box.

    Let me know please. Thanks.

I think I do have them out in my shop somewhere . And won't be using them.
I'm actually out of town right now.
In San Antonio with the wife.
She has a conference for the next few days .
And I'll be walking around the river all day.
Sure beats welding all day in this heat.
But I'll look for them when I get back home.
