TRD Pro Tundra for about 28k

    90K Miles
    Double cab
    Trifold cover
    Predator steps
    Accident report(Reported as minor damage)

I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet but the deal doesn't seem that bad on paper except the high mileage. However I rarely see any in my area and if so, they go for about 10k more with around half the miles, but it does seem like it's mostly highway miles.

Anything I should be looking out for?

2015 and the "damage" was over a 2 years ago, so I am sure it was fixed through insurance. The photos don't show any damage at all lol Not worried much about the damage, or resale since these hold their value insanely well.

Might be able to bring down the price to about 27k before fees and taxes, been dealing with them through email before I make the drive.

Still thinking long and hard if I should keep my current SR5 2017 Tacoma or go for this beast lol

It all depends on what the "damage" was..

As I mentioned, I have no way of knowing.

The carfax simply mentions "minor damage, which could be cosmetic"

If it were me..I'd want to find out what that "cosmetic " really is....just sayin. Mileage not too bad actually. The $28K would make me wonder why so low. My 2 cents. It just might be a great deal.

I agree, however contacting the previous owner would be very unlikely so I just have to go/trust the carfax and inspect it really well.

So mileage isn't that bad for the price huh. I do know 5.7 should have no issues lasting a long time like the legendary 4.7 oftentimes does.

Mileage isn't that bad at all, the price seems a bit low for a 2015 Pro. A potential red flag for me. Do your due diligence to be sure. I hope it is a great deal. We have a few members here with 5.7's well over 300K miles

I will definitely be on the lookout, you do have a point about the price, although I have noticed non toyota dealerships might sell Tundras for like 1-2k cheaper than their regular going price.

I currently have an sr5 2017 tacoma with about half the mileage so it would be a big change, we will see how it goes!

I came from a 2009 Taco. It was pretty good but under powered with the 2.7L 4 banger, but it did have a manual tranny. I lot of us here came from Taco's. It seems that the latest gen Taco has had several issues. Enough for a several members here losing their Taco to kick it up a few notches and get a Tundra. Good luck. Hope it works out for you:thumbsup:
