I paid 20% below MSRP on my PRO in 2016. I guess discontinuing production for a while caused an increase in demand.

IMG_3644.jpg just bought a 2019 black trd pro with window tint added to front driver/passenger windows, predator side steps, all weather toyota mats, spray in bed liner for 49,756. no dealer/doc fees, no weird dealer packages. shopped it around regional dealers and no one would come within 1k of it. dealer in knoxville told me their pros start at msrp and go up from there with add ons. i bought mine from toyota of the shoals in alabama and had a great experience.

You appear to be correct about Knoxville, TN dealer starting at MSRP...here's one listed:

    https://www.toyotaknoxville.com/new-Knoxville-2019-Toyota-Tundra-TRD+Pro+CrewMax-5TFDY5F11KX847305

Other Tundras (Platinum, 1794, etc.) are 3k-6k off MSRP

Knoxville area dealer has one marked below MSRP, but how much below? Dunno:

On my 16 Pro, there was no markup. But it was take it or leave it type negotiation.
The guy test drove before me said he had to call wife and dealer sold it to me.

Around here some dealer like to push the "Vehicle Protection Package". I refuse to buy a vehicle that has it. When I was looking for my Tacoma the sales manager that I was dealing with at one dealer went I vacation. When I called for her I got the sales dude that was covering. When he tried to convince me that the Vehicle Protection was a good deal and a lot of customers like it I just told him they fools that like parting with their money and hung up.

I paid $44,800 out the door for mine in 2017. That was with them adding Predator step bars and the technology accessories package. Took that quote to a dealer closer to me and they literally laughed and said the other dealer wouldn't honor it. But they did and it was because they had never had a TRD Pro before and really didn't know what they had in it.

Michael's Toyota in Bellevue Washington sells the TRD PRO at MSRP. they do not install gimmicks that you cannot get out of (paint protection and window etching and pulse breaklights) like many dealers do. They do have some trucks that they modify with lifts and big wheels before putting on the showroom floor.

They knew what they had in it. What they probably did not know is what other dealers were charging for Pros.

Yea, that's what I meant. They just didn't know what it was really worth. Which I'm glad was the case.

I paid $42,500 for my 2019 TRD Pro in a few months ago. With the 2020's coming out, you should be able to find some good deals out there if ya look around.

Just got back from Reno over the weekend. Stopped by Dolan Toyota and saw a white 19' Pro for I think $1.2K off MSRP and a 2020 Army Green for $500 msrp. Unfortunately the slot machines were unkind, otherwise I would have driven back to the Bay Area in that 2020 Army Green lol.

I'm on the hunt for a Mesquite Brown 1794, I'm finding a take it or leave it attitude from most dealers. I'm persistent though, I'll find a good deal at some point. Yes, I know this is a Pro thread.

hmmmm. Here in good ol’ new Germany oh I mean New Jersey, the local dealership here in Burlington county was asking for $5000 or $6000 market adjustment over invoice. Nobody in New Jersey is giving these friggin things away that’s for damn sure. It was a 2019 voodoo blue pro.
