Glad it worked out. I was able to knock the edge off with my dremel while everything was in place.

Wow, you are very convincing. I must say was leaning back towards the 1" because was doing this to level and then didn't want to put a rake back with 1.5" But now I think i'm sold on the 1.5" because worse than the rake would be nose high.

    You have any side pics?

My rear shackles squeak too and i greased the new bushings before installing. When you say "the bolt is rubbing"...which bolt? The top bolt in the shackles?

I'll post pics of the bolt in question when I go to trim it off. For now, words will have to do.

It's not the shackle bolt. It's part of the truck, maybe a bed bolt. It protrudes down from the truck bed into the top flange of the frame, directly above the inside arm of the shackle, and makes contact with the rounded top of the shackle. You can't see it by sticking your head in the wheel well, or under the rear bumper. You have to be in between the leaf packs to really get a good view of it.

Did you order new hardware with the shackles or use the existing bolts, nuts, lock washers, etc.?

Not even close to that bolt. You are because you are in the low setting on your shackles. If you were in top hole you would think have that problem.

Old school "hot wrench" fixes most. I've taken them out of muscle cars before with the torch method and a 2lb sledge. It's a good workout.

So, my graphite lube only lasted the short 4 mile drive to work, then it was back to incessant squeaking again. Yesterday, I got out the Dremel and took care of both bolts. The ends were worn off pretty good; a wear spot about 1/4" long on each had been created by the shackles. I don't even know how I got the shackles installed correctly given how much rubbing there was! But the difference was immediate after cutting the ends off. I hopped up and down in the bed and the suspension made nary a sound! Thanks again, @Danman34 for the tip!
