That may work in some situations... I try to be prepared for most situations... but Hell, I'm a Texas farm boy hick that drives into Houston a lot! LOL No idea about what you have to deal with in Idaho...

Well, you have to love this, as you get 13 available 12 gauge rounds in a 26.1 inch weapon that will address bad guys without killing people 75 yards away. It will actually hold more shells, if you use the new shorties they have out, like the 1 3/4" Aguilar mini-shells. What I like most about it, is that it has a 18.5" barrel, which makes it all hunky-dory [good to go] where I live, as far as the law goes. Great weapon. They're like 860 bucks or so ... of course, when I buy a weapon, I like it to function reliably. Consequently, I am willing to pay a little more. P.S. You could carry this in a short bag, no problem.

every vehicle has it's own rifle bag.
For the tundra, space is limited so I went with my 300 blk out pistol as a "truck" gun. As always, my m&p 9 comes with me everywhere. I plan to make a more permanent solution to hold it from bouncing around in there. Funny, I have my cheapest optic on the top 3 most expensive builds I have. (2A Balios Lite Receiver Set/SLR 5" barrel and 4.5" slr rail/Maxim pistol brace etc)20190616_154508.jpg 20190616_154448.jpg

One of the men in my mother in law’s family purchased something like this for her decades ago for ‘protection.’ She dug it out a few years back and me and the wife dusted it off and took it to the range once just for giggles. Not the easiest pistol to manipulate for me so I could see why someone who isn’t a shooter never took it out of its box in 25 years. Felt like it would have been worthless from more than about 10 yards out. Made me want to go back in time and ask the relative who was a ‘gun guy’ who steered her that way WTF he was thinking putting her in this awkward little pea shooter with no knock down power designed to be handled by baby hands with man strength rather than a .38 revolver or a larger 9mm semi auto. Unless he just thought “Woman=tiny gun, man=big gun.”

It’s still in my safe. I’ve thought about just going to a street corner on the rough side of town and trying to give it away for free but I think they’d laugh at me.

Depends where you have it mounted. I can tell you this, if I'm being pulled out of my truck, my gun is coming with me . It's what works for you. I'm pretty sure I'd have that gun out as quick as your pull from the waist

Nice collection. Notice a couple of those compact length cannons like my Kimber Ultra CDP. Using a Super Carry Pro for now in the truck. Getting a truck put the hiatus on my gun addiction for the time being.
