I purchased a take off TRD skid plate from a local dealer. They said that it had all of the needed hardware attached to it when I picked it up. Went to do the install today and quickly found out I was missing the hardware kit. I need to source the M10 15mm flange nuts (x2), alignment spacers (x2), and plastic ratchet fasteners (x3).

Anyone here have insight on where I could source this? The flange nuts I assume I could grab at a hardware store, but the spacers are custom to the tundra. I called my local dealer and they said a “hardware kit” would be $180 from Toyota but he couldn’t see what all that included. Thanks!

Take it back to the dealer

It was purchased as a take off part from another truck. I called them and they said what they had from removing it are the parts they gave me. No real recourse on an “as is” buy.

See what you mean but they should have the parts there somewhere if they look hard enough.

    To much to list:)
Look at Cool Springs Toyota site and see if they have a part number for the parts? If not send a message to Roman on the Cool Springs site here and he will let you know.

All of the parts that are missing can be sourced at the hardware store.

I made the spacer out of a piece of aluminum stock from the hardware store as well. If memory serves the hardware kit from Toyota is like $90 bucks...eff that.

    I think I might have spent $10.
