Do spare tire have TPMS?

    Ive always heard they do on both toy and honda so i would assume yes

    TRD dual exhaust, Rough Country lift kit and too much money spent.
    I don't think the newer one's have them but i could be wrong. My 05 did and it drove me crazy during the winter. My wife's 17 Highlander doesn't have one on the spare.

    My 2006 Tundra had five TPMS sensors, my 2018 only has them on the drive wheels as I understand it.

    2009 4 runner and 14 FJ cruiser both have sensors in spares...

    I've assumed that they have TPMS given that the spare is installed by the factory to where you cannot access the air valve to check the air manually and inflate/deflate as necessary to get to your desired air pressure. Or maybe there's some other form of stupid involved with that.

    I turned my spare around so I can check it manually. I would note that if you look to do this you might run out of spare tire chain hoist length. I always have 2x6's in the bed for jacking off (see what I did there?) of on the side of the road. So I can use a couple of those to land the spare tire on and not have to fight with the chain.
