Hey you guys with the color match hood bulge and grill trim...Are those aftermarket parts or were you able to just paint over the chrome?

Most, if not all have ordered our color matched OEM factory hood bulges and TRD grills painted through our vendors here. Contact Roman with Cool Springs Toyota or TRDSparks if your interested in changing yours.

My truck is in the shop getting my windows tinted. Got 50%, hope it's not too light. I have to wait til I can close my shop down then take an hour train ride home. This wait is killing me. 3 more hours.:annoyed:

    Joon,

Depends on what you're trying to do ... I've got 50% on my front windows. All it did was help blend the windows alittle bit with the back ones and provide alittle heat reduction. I went with the highest uv protection 50% tint I could find. If I were to do it again I might have pushed my luck and gone with 35%.

Yeah, I wanted 40% but my choices were either 30 or 50. I definitely didn't want it as dark as the back and doing it more for heat reduction. Don't know why none of these tint places have some way to show you the darkness on your car. They only have these little square pieces that doesn't do shit. But the anticipation is killing me. 5 more minutes til I can leave. What's going on with your wheels and lift?

So, I'm expecting some pics by the weekend! As for my lift ... first place I went too asked way to much to install my Toytec TU3 kit. However, I just found out today I have a connection with a shop that a new coworker's family owns and they are willing to do it for 1/2 the price . I've got a week off coming up and will hopefully have them do it then. As for my wheels ... I'm still stuck on either Fuel Mavericks or the Nutz 2 piece wheels.

20x9 ... but what offset? Guess if I go to wide, I could always get some flares.

    Steve,

You're exactly right about the ease of cleaning the Mavericks over the Nutz. Not to mention that the Nutz cost nearly $800 more for a set of 4 and weight 11lbs more each wheel.

Also, I nearly pulled the trigger on the Hostage wheels (and I haven't ruled them out either) but I keep coming back to the others.

Good for you Wes, cause once you do ... It will be on your mind nearly non-stop. I actually put myself to sleep most days by thinking about wheels and tire combos. It's a sickness I tell you.

By the way, your Tundra is coming along beautifully! Keep up the good work.

Yeah that's pretty remarkable if it holds.

My understanding is that the ecu just eventually adjusts to the additional air by adding fuel and reducing mpgs. But this would be certainly welcome

I'm going to wait to see if Nicks mpgs holds. See what happens once the ecu adjusts. Hopefully it does.
