I also had the One muffler dual in-dual out Flowmaster 40 series, and the sound was to mellow for my taste. I wanted the deep throaty rumble. But not a clanky straight pipe sound. I rolled the dice and had my buddy at Exhaust Pro's custom install Two Flo-Pro 3.5 18" Glass Packs. And it sounds awesome. Only downside is the drone on the freeway is noticeable. I'm totally happy with the setup and the sound. Its all a matter of taste.

I went with dual spintech super pro street 6000 mufflers and the sound is a very deep rumble at idle and when you hit the noise pedal its pure race car sound. and the best thing is there is no drone anytime. I,m running the super pro street 9000s on my pro street truck with headers, 3" duals with h-pipe005.jpg 006.jpg and they are much louder than the tundra

No chance you know hp gains by dyno test is there?

I should have put the Tundra on the chassis dyno when i first got it, but was not planning to do any engine mods so i have no numbers to list. The only numbers that i have are on my pro street motor. we ran the motor with 2" hooker headers with and without the spintech mufflers and there was only a 7hp difference in peak hp. I can,t remember what the tq numbers were. I would not know what the hp numbers would be in the exhaust system on the Tundra from stock to aftermarket. I have been building engines and trucks for a long time and can,t see any hp losses from a good dual exhaust which only a good chassis dyno would confirm. everywhere i go people say what a great sounding truck i have and i do love the sound of it..

@aramirez73 Yeah. I put on the BAM budget system and the thing is ridiculous.

He's designed it so that you can hear it when you're on the gas, and then when you're on the highway, it basically shuts off. It's amazing.

Probably about $429 shipped to your place in AZ.

Check out my build thread. Dual in/out FlowMaster setup custom done by Exhaust Pro here in Aurora. Very nice....especially when I hit the gas. Very nice, no drone. Loud when I want it. Quiet enough when I'm hunting. Don't believe eveything bad you hear about FlowMaster. Setup does need to be done right for that perfect sound. Best investment I've made so far.
