This is the second time I have hear a humming noise while my Sequoia is parked in the garage. It sounds like it is coming from somewhere near the spare tire? It will stop if I turn the ignition on (don't need to start).

    Any clues?

I took a video of the sound but I can't upload it??

Bleeding the line? How long after shutdown would it run and for how long? I parked it about 8:30 last night and it was running at 6 this morning?

    Not too sure honestly.
Being a 2018 , is it still under OEM warranty? I would take it to the dealer and have them check it out.
I had a 2005 Sequoia that had the air bags in the rear and the on board compressor ran for a while after it was shut off. I unplugged the connector and cleaned the terminals , then it was fine.

This is the EVAP purge valve operating. It can happen up to 5 hrs after the car is off. The owners manual talks about this as well. Opening the gas cap and closing made mine stop as well as turning the ignition. If you still feel uneasy definitely call the dealer and have them look at it. My wife’s Landcruiser makes the same noise once in a while.

Sounds like the evap system the Tundra does it too, all normal.

First time I heard it I posted on here as well. Odd to hear noises when the truck has been off for hours, haha.

Thank you all. It's a little unnerving walking into the garage and hearing that noise. This is a pleasure vehicle so we don't drive it a lot. Had it almost a year and it has about 2,500 miles on it.
