So I'm trying to make something out of acrylic that requires me to cut a logo out of the center. I've seen plenty of ways to cut a straight edge, but what would be the best way to cut shapes? Hope you understand what I'm trying to say, ha. Thanks..!

Maybe a router? Or drill a hole and use a jigsaw with a fine tooth blade?

I’ve used a Dremel with a similar setup to this.

I use a Dremel also. I find anything rotary melts it but comes out cleaner and doesn't chip the edge like cutting with a blade. Just gotta break off the pieces leftover from melting it. Straight lines just score both sides and break off.

If using a jig saw or scroll saw just make sure to use the correct blade..and if u dont have a scroll saw flip your jig saw upside down and use it as a scroll saw..just dont cut your fingers..

Dremel or small router is best. Scroll saws are next best. Jigsaws will cause a lot of up and down vibration which cause cracking, especially if the acrylic is thin. If you want to use a jigsaw, I recommend clamping the acrylic between 2 pieces of plywood and cutting all 3 at the same time.

A roto-zip will do it, but make practice cuts first, so you're ready for the torque-walk. Also make sure you cover a wide area around the intended cut with painter's tape.
