I dont typically see an issue on this board that multiple people haven't experienced so I'm hoping I can get information on a problem I am having.

Whenever I brake, hold the pedal, and let off I am getting a dry, hollow popping noise. I am assuming it is the brakes. It happens when I easily apply the brake and it can happen when I assertively apply brake (never pops until take off). It is an intermittent issue. Sometimes it is more frequent, sometimes it won't do it at all. It is driving me crazy. It seems to be worst when I come to a quick rolling stop and quickly apply gas after stopping. Any ideas??

Can you get it to do it over and over with the truck turned off? Start simple and look at the brake pad on the pedal. Make sure it’s snapped on all the way. If it’s coming from deeper, and you can’t seem to pinpoint it take it into the dealer. You should be under warranty no?

Powertrain. I'm at 42K. It seems like the brakes have to be under some load for it to occur.

Hmm. Can you recreate it with the truck in park? Get your head in there to help you narrow it down? Maybe it’s just hanging up on something.

Did you every figure out what this was? I am having the same issues. Doesnt happen every time, but when it does, its after i slow down to a stop. Once i let go of the brake pedal i hear a thud (bump or thump whatever word you want to use). not every time, but probably happens once every time i drive it. And it only happens the moment i let go of the brake pedal, and only after braking under load. it wont make the noise in park. I also cant replicate it with hard braking or normal braking. seems to be random.

Just a guess. Lose brake pad from the two pins. Maybe one of the clips or one of the pins is sliding out or maybe its their worn. Sounds like the pad/pads are slapping the inside of the caliper. Hope this helps
