I think I like the gloss black finish. Matches the windows better than the OEM satin finish. Maybe it'll be easier to keep it looking decent too. I used Vvivid air release vinyl from Amazon. Very simple and cheap. So much easier than the damn tail lights I tinted earlier today. I doubt the tint wrap will work out on the tail lights. May need to try again and use 2 pieces per light to make it easier and neater looking, even a seem may look better than some of the wrinkles I ended up with. Anyway I like the B pillar vinyl and it came out great

 

I was thinking of going with some carbon fiber wrap for those window trim pieces.

Not the fanciest but they will do the job and I’m happy with them. Needs a wash, and I think tint on the front windows is next.

 

I’m usually not the biggest fan of gloss vinyl but have to agree. Def looks better with your glass and color. Nice mod dude

 

Do you have to let the DMV know that the color changed? For the registration?

 

Had front windows tinted to match the rear, tonneau cover & predator steps installed (dealer threw them in to close the deal).

Thanks. I'm a little worried about some of the edges where it wouldn't lay down flat. I'll see how it pans out the next few weeks. If I have to re do them I think I will try it in 2 pieces.

 

Bilsteins 5100 on mid with 2/1 shim setup and diff drop on 33x12.50x18s

 

CB Radio, bumper end cap covers, husky floor liners, Wet Okole seat covers, and ESP locking under seat storage.

@Larmand and @Squatting Pigeon helped me install most of it. Can't say thank you enough!


Installed my end caps by myself.... It was a workout in the humidity and dark, but I did it!

If you don’t like wrap, have you thought about using VHT Nightshades? I used it on my old stocks with clear coat. Wet sanded and polished, they came out great.

 

I have the factory chrome letters that I took off. You could add 3M double sided tape to the back of them and use them. You pay shipping and they are yours

Long over due but finally color matched handles. Looks so much cleaner. Next is led tailgate lightbar.
