Nothing sensational. Removed garage old 4' florescent bulb fixtures and replaced with 4' LED fixtures. Life is good...

Shutters are installed for goat barn. I wish the cedar shutters were going to be sealed or stained. Unfortunately the client wants to have them painted white. 9CF71847-9538-4C0B-A556-C38ABD10714C.jpg

Power is on and live at the barn now. Automatic waters are hooked up as well. We had to trench over 500’ of rock for water and power.

Only a few paint touch ups and this project will be all done. Animals will arrive this Friday. My clients are very excited!

Well here is what my 19,000 sq ft barn foundation is starting to look like. All the foundation is Pre engineered, so all the beams, steel and concrete are spect by the engineer. Lots of planning to get to this point.

I have concrete trench drains installed through out the center aisle of the barn.

I have catch basins being installed on the ends of each trench drain run. This will help collect any debris that collects in the drain.

Squeezing a full size semi with a 30,000 lb load between some old oak trees was fun. We only had about 6” on each side to spare! Made it work.

My 20,000 sq foot arena structure will arrive next month. So lots of big changes coming in the next month.

Epoxy floors are done, I’m pretty happy with them. I kinda wish I didn’t do the texture, but oh well. DFB62CCD-B751-4743-912D-A55EAA36AE81.jpg

You'll be happy about the texture when it gets wet. Buddy of mine had the concrete polished in his garage, then had them come back and rough it up a little after he busted his ass with wet shoes.

Looks good man. I am getting quotes to get my bathroom remodeled and the keep telling m the pan at the bottom to title it is 2500 compared to a 800 dollar fiberglass one. Seems crazy to me

    Yeah that's nuts!
It was $50 worth of deck mud and an afternoon for me to knock the pan out. Another afternoon to waterproof, and she's ready for tile.

My 25’x30’ Goat Barn project is all done. Clients have their new goats and miniature donkeys in the new fenced area. I decided to do the metal wainscoting panel around the perimeter of the barn to help prevent the donkeys from cribbing (chewing). 0AB06C16-99B7-4839-BCF8-193F3DD18B17.jpg

Finished building our solar array frame and installed two 195 watt panels yesterday and just finished installing a third one, 5 more to go. This array system will keep 20 six volt golf cart batteries charged, they are hooked up 4 to a bank in series for 24 volts making 5 banks that total a 1025 amp-hours, very serious amperage so I always use electrical tape on any wrenches that I use while working on connections as I never want to see the result of any shorting. Anyway, those batteries will provide power for a 4,000 watt pure sinewave inverter which will take care of emergency power for two refrigerators, a freezer and some LED lighting in our home.
