Some cosmetic 'upgrades' this weekend - threw some vinyl (3M 1080 Deep Matte Black & Satin Battleship Gray) on the rear. Also replaced the i-Force V8 badges w/ American flags (Murica!) and painted the front tow-hooks red, which IMO is how they should have come from the factory on the TRDPs.BL.jpg SD2.jpg BR.jpg SD1.jpg

Agreed.Tailgate letters also. Or red. Just a little accent to make it stand out.

I think the lettering stands out more or "just enough" now with the vinyl.

OP, what part of TX do you reside?

It does look good the way it stands....the light reflects pretty well off the wrapped embossed letters. I'm in Houston (Clear Lake).

Looks good. Did you pull the hooks to paint them? You use any specific paint. I really like the look. May have to do those on my Black PRO.

Also, I've been fighting the urge to do the classic orange and red stripes on the back of my truck. This is not helping. :)

Even the Battleship Gray might look good, if white or red is too flashy.
(I like details - sometimes going overboard with it LOL)

Sorry, I did not mean to offend. Just ideas. I sometimes have ideas. Sometimes not. Sometimes people appreciate it. Sometimes not. I don't really care.

Lol no way was there any offense. I was just stating that everytime I do something and someone says that, I always start rethinking it and wish I'd done it differently lol. I was just encouraging him to keep it the way it is because it looks good lol. Didnt mean to come off abrasive!

I dig it, the only think I would’ve have different is I would have cut out the embossment and have white paint stand out in the black wrap.

No rub at all - I removed the small mud-flaps in front of the front tires though.

Wanted to see what it looked like w/ just the black at first, and honestly trimming out the letters would be to tedious/laborious. I may go with some red inlays...I'll photoshop it first to see if it's 'necessary'.

I've thought about wrapping the scoop black....and potentially the roof - if I ever pop for a rack I would for sure wrap it.

With all that black you just lost like 100 hp.

The gray stripe adds 120 though, so +20 net.
