I have SR and was going to buy rims off of a SR5. About how much would it cost me to have the TPMS sensors from my old rims installed onto the new rims and balanced? Anything else I need to consider? Of course I would try one first to ensure it's the correct bolt pattern. Thanks.

I don't think TPMS from steel rims will work on alloy rims. Last time I bought TPMS, they charged me $25 each, so not bad.

Tpms sensors from steel wheels will not fit on alloy wheels. Also, if you have an 18+, the tpms are not compatible with prior model year sensors, or vice versa.

I ditched the sensors when I switched from steel to alloy... the dash light flashes for a bit, then stays on. My trusty air pressure gauge works just fine, and I visually inspect my tires often.
