finally dried out enough to get out camping. Took the in laws to our go-to weekend spot. Creek still too high to fish 5CAA315D-C664-43EE-AB5C-B0FE660875B8.jpgFDC79DA0-4B05-4F81-9669-AE20E7A5DEB4.jpg566E9404-6F89-4FAF-9EDB-DA007C9AD7C8.jpgFDD75801-C802-419C-B171-00B16F3E8C8D.jpg47B690F5-1CDE-4846-8ACB-ABA166263F70.jpg

No clarity at all in the creek? It looks like maybe some big attention getting nymphs might work.

Only about a foot of visibility. If I was feeling a bit more ambitious I probably could have found some luck with a big streamer. It’s running so fast and cold that trying to get to the slower water is really dangerous. Just have to wait. Over 500” of snow up there this winter is taking a long time to melt off.

Awesome pics. None of my parents or in laws would even dare to camp; so no precious moments with their grandkids on a trip like this.
