Wondering what you all are using to mount your antenna? If you use a cb radio that is. :D

I used a mirror mount like @Larmand but put mine in the bed rails.

Do you have a problem with cargo snagging on the wiring? I would be concerned about tearing up the wiring when hauling stuff.

Hey all, I just picked up a new truck & wanted to swap my CB over from my 4Runner to the Tundra. Looking at mounts I came across this thread.

Where on the truck is this? It's a bit close for me to tell where you have it mounted. Looks like the spare? Underneath somehow?

How did you actually attach it to the bed rails & where is your cable routed?

Mine is attached to front right corner of the bed.

I made my bed rails out of Unistrut, so I used unistrut connectors to actually mount it.

I ran the wire from the CB under my carpet and out a rubber plug directly underneath the back seat. Then down along the frame rail and through the plastic cut out at the front of the bed. No drilling whatsoever!

(I've since pulled the slack from that wire)

I'm a fan of stake pocket mounts and hidden cabling.

Not a CB antenna but what you screw on top doesn't matter.

If you haven't already, take a look at Breedlove Mounts. None better built in the world. All kinds of rock solid CB mounts and here's a direct link to his stake pocket options: https://www.breedlovemounts.com/ezn-stake-pocket-bracket.html
