Hey everyone I missed posting a few pics in my "still under const build", so thought I would show them here. I have my twin cyl ARB compressor under the hood and ran 3/8" air brake tubing through the frame rail to feed the air tanks. Both tanks are tied together and feed a qwik-connect on either side of the truck. ( just under the doors ). I can then fill my airbags without firing the compressor up. I also deflate my tires to 13 psi when I go cruising in the desert dunes. I use a set of 4 Staun deflators I have preset @ 13 psi. ( they work awesome ). When it's time to head home, I fill up the tires to 55 psi and the airbags to 65 psi and tow our travel trailer home. I have another single Staun deflator set @ 35 psi for my everyday driving pressure when I get home. The tanks are 2 different sizes for a total of about 4-5 gallons. This is also easier on the compressor when filling lots of tires. ( one draw back.........guess who fills most the tires around the campsite now ). I made the brackets out of aluminum and everything is tucked up above the bottom of the frame rail and strictly bolt on. Sorry for rambling on.........( my wife says I have a problem with that.

Thanks for the comments guys. Another note if you are thinking about adding a compressor and holding tanks to your rig: my compressor gets used more than you think. At times I don't feel like breaking out my garage compressor, so I simply plug into my qwik-conn on my frame rail. Also works great for bike tires etc when out going on a beach cruise. Just some thoughts.

CM-Lenny. I know this thread has been around for awhile but i just discovered it. Looks like a great set up and Im thinking of doing this(similar) to my 17'Pro.
How has it held up over time? What bags did you use? Does it limit you while off-roading? What was the cost?
I would appreciate the knowledge. Thanks RB

Hey RB.........If you link onto the "build thread" in my signature you will find some of my mods. It shows the twin ARB compressor, Firestone bags etc. If you plan on using bags and going off road, definitely get air bag cradles. You will tear your bags apart other wise. My mods are homemade so kinda hard to give you a price. Also the Firestone bag mounts are not stock, they are homemade too. All my stuff has held up fine so far. I try to design and build it to last the life of the truck. Hope this helps. Yell with any questions.......

Thank you Lenny for the qwik response. Unfortunately i dont have the skills/ballz to do the work myself, which saves $$$. I wont do a lot of off roading. Just logging/fire roads n some snow. Just wanna cure the sag while towing. Thanks again RB

The Firestone kit is strictly bolt in with simple hand tools. They even have a set-up with a small compressor, gauge and switches. I only have the ARB and tanks cuz I air down my 37's to off-road in the sand. (and fill the bags too). Good luck with all RB.

Lenny, are those tanks completely above the lowest part of the frame? I've been toying with the idea of OBA, even though it's not like it's a necessity at this point.

Yes I made certain that they were tucked up nice and tight out of harms way.
