I dont like the navigation unit in my 2007 limited at all. It just seems super dated. Is there an option that isnt super expensive and would look somewhat stock?

It seems like it would be a common question, but all the options i saw people talking about were $1,000+. I dont know my budget, but significantly less than that

Pioneer 4400/4500nex with a maestro RR, harness, and dash kit - self installed should be around the $600-700 range and you keep OEM functionality like steering wheel controls. Wireless carplay/android auto gives you nav as long as your phone's connected

You guys got me on the right track with those models. I think what i wasnt understanding before was that basically any headunit will work as long as its compatible with maestro. I also want to find something with android auto.

I was seeing a huge price difference in different models, but i figured out that its because some have dvd players/cd players and some dont. What would be comparable models to what you guys posted but without the cd/dvd players?

I think ive decided on pioneer avh-2550nex. Mainly for android auto and hd radio. Im not sure if hd radio is all that useful, but it sounds cool.

Other than that, i need a maestro rr and i think i need a 12v to 6v step down for the factory rear camera. Is there anything else i need to buy? Does the maestro come with the wiring harness, or is that purchased separately. It seems like there would be a write up for this somewhere, but i cant find one

The Maestro RR does the step down to 6v automatically on my 2018, I could never get it to work right on my 2008, but that was an SR5 without a factory screen (camera display in mirror)

You need the TO1 harness for the Maestro which is about $40-50 extra
