    So Cal here as well!

Also new the the forum. Just started my dechrome project. Did plasti-dip on all the emblems yesterday, also removed the Toyota Emblem above the tundra emblem on the tailgate (i really how this looks). My rock warrior grill comes today from Thousand Oaks Toyota ($197 OTD brand new shipped to Orange County). Putting that on tonight (stock one for sale if anyone wants it. open to any offers). Also did some vinyl to break up the chrome on the front bumber until i can swing the funds to get the front and rear bumbers sprayed with bed liner, and did vinyl on the gas cap cover. Took these pics real quick at work, someone parked next to me so couldnt get a better angle at the moment.

Did you dip the grill or do an actual paint?
I’m debating on trying to dip mine white. Not sure how it will match up with the super white.

Ok ya I’ll check it out!

Anyone have any storage solutions for behind the crewmax seats that recline? I’m thinking I may have to just build something.

Only ones I’ve seen is cut into foam under seat and put in storage from ESP.

I can’t lift the seat due to the hardware to slide the seats forward and back.

I bought two 12in Husky canvas tool bags from home depot and they fit real nice right behind the seat. One for straps, another for emergency stuff. for some reason home depot doesnt have them on their website, but they are basically this

    https://www.amazon.com/WORKPRO-13-i...&qid=1561072207&s=gateway&sr=8-59-spons&psc=1

My seat is about 3-4 clicks forward to accommodate my 10in type-r sub in a bbox sealed truck enclosure. so its just enough space to pull the bags in and out.

I have been searching. Haven’t found anything. I’ll keep searching. May be a custom build ‍♂️

Not a bad idea. Got a pic of your setup? Was thinking of adding a small sub too.

    Yea here are some pics.

Note: I tried to include as many pics as possible to show spacing. The seat behind the driver is a few clicks foward, the driver seat is almost all the way back. The amp is located under the rear passenger side seat. and its positioned as such to where i can still fold the seat down but only slid back in the most rear position. if i slide the seat forward at all, and then try to fold down, the framing of the under side of the seat hits the amp and it wont go down. I put spacers (i should have painted them....buuuuut lazy) on the box to avoid the surround of the sub hitting the plastic backing of the seat. The Alpine type r 10 throws pretty far.

    Installed all this last week
    Head Unit: Sony XAV-AX100
Front speakers: Polk Audio DB 6502
    Rear Speakers: Pioneer TS-A652F
Speakers Powered by a Kicker 42PXA3004
Sub and Box: Alpine SWR-10D2 in a Bbox E10ST (Amazon)
Sub powered by Pioneer GM-D8601 running at about 700ish RMS at 1ohm

i ended up using an enamel primer and then high heat uv paint for propane grilles (i had a crap ton of it left over from an axle build that went no where) i was kinda going for that flat matte black texture and it didn't really work out. i should have just did the plasti dip... the chrome was a bitch to get off though. i tried to wet sand it and then used an electric sander and got nowhere with it. found out you can just peel the shit off if it is bubbled...

That’s the spot that I was picking for the sub. Looks good. I may try to custom build a sub box with a storage thing on the side.

Seems like a lot of work. Lol. I think I’m going to try the plasti for now.

Want to address this again. I bought this from an idea on another forum and it works! It's a furnace filter and is a lot less restrictive. Increases air flow like there is no filter in there. I realize it's less filtration but enough for big debris and with recirculate on there should never be a problem! Cut to fit. And for 18 bucks there is at least 6 filters that can be cut out of this big sheet.
