Anyone interested in one long-travel shaft for a trail spare axle? It's brand new and was only on the truck for a month. Camburg sells the set for $700. I'll let one go for $300. I can throw in an OEM axle for additional $150. You'll just need to swap the shaft to it yourself.

Hey man sorry just I saw this.
The group buy was already done. There wasn’t much interest on here so we just barely made the required 5 people.
I just reached out to rcv and asked about doing a group buy. Maybe you can do the same. They were receptive and easy to work with when I inquired.

I got another person in so far. So as of this post that’s two. Need three more. I will confirm with RCV this week if 5 or more will score us 25% off. Again this will apply to stock length or LT

There are fitment issues with LT depending on your setup so make sure you know what you're getting into

Fitment issues as in? I thought these LT axles were essentially a drop in replacement

They're bigger. They can interfere the shocks or whatever. I dont have them so I cant say precisely, but I have some friends that had issues.

I’m gonna try and verify this. These axles are on my list of parts needed for my build regardless.

Ok fellas...they’re up for doing another group buy. LT, stock or whatever length you need. As far as the LT guys like myself they said bolt on and bolt on for stock replacements. I’m sure if you swap out to bigger C/O’s or use maybe some aftermarket tie rods there might be an issue.

    Good point @osidepunker
He is correct, I had to make a couple adjustments so the RCV axles would work with my Total Chaos LT setup.
First you can’t use 3.75” ID coilover springs as they will contact the axle. Use 3” ID springs.
Second you need to locate the limit strap in a different spot or it will rub on the CV boot and wear a hole in it. I just had the tab welded on the frame more to the rear than the recommended spot.
Also it’s probably smart to relocate the OE brake line mount closer to the spot TC recommends.

I specified when I asked about the Camburg kit and using the recommended C/O’s that Camburg recommends and RCV said complete bolt on. I can’t speak for TC or the other LT manufacturers.

I’m just not a fan of having to rebuild the stock CV’s. A pain in the rear. Not to mention a supposedly bolt on option and stronger than stock unit makes this very appealing.

I hear ya, those reasons and the lifetime warranty are also why I went with RCV.
