Someday it would be cool to see a few Tundras at car/ truck shows, hoods up, showing them SuperChargers off. :hattip:

Pretty sure that’s only the TRD one since it’s a Toyota part. This will be treated like any other aftermarket part by Toyota no matter who installs it.

My Tundra with a Magnuson SC, 4.88 gears, long tube headers, full exhaust, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump & HP tuner is getting 470 HP to the rear wheels on 37” tires. But my torque is 532.8 lb-ft @ 2,400 RPM. :muscleflexing:
    41B3A713-CDB3-4FEB-BD07-BBD83122B843.jpg

I’m still waiting to see more details on the Whipple twin screw SC. It should release in a few months. Its supposed to produce bigger HP numbers than Magnuson.

    The catch for this warranty:

It ONLY applies to the first 36,000 miles of the truck's life. If you put the SC on at 36,001 the PT warranty is zero.

BUT, any Factory warranty is considered intact. If something does break, it has to Proven that the SC is the direct cause of the failure for it to be void. This is the grey area, but it falls back on the dealership to help you, or let you burn. I had my SC installed at my dealership, with the clear understanding that this was not voiding any current warranty. (I have 8/125k Platinum). We put everything on the table, and discussed it like gentleman. This was nice because we are able to put everything in writing about what specifically would be the case, should something arise. It is very crucial to be working with a qualified and professional dealership if you go that route. Magnuson only require that the install is done by a certified ASE mechanic, and the warranty card be filled out within a couple weeks of install. (This is a downloaded warranty card only) nothing that is "in the box"

Very nice negotiating, great work. I completely agree.

The key term in my response was "picks up" the warranty. Not extends it. I forgot about the extended warranty though, as someone else mentioned earlier. Glad you got it honored. I may SC in the future. My best friend is the service manager at the the local dealer, so I will have no problem making sure my paper trail is right. And he makes sure Toyota only needs to know what they need to know :D

I tow...the SC made a ton of difference.

I added the SC at 6700 miles...it has been flawless.

As far as long term reliability, it is like anything else. You abuse it and beat the shit out of it, you will be rewarded accordingly.

Drive it normally and it will be fine.

I just installed a supercharger at 214,000 miles, and upgrading to the smaller pulley (to make up for altitude loss) in the next week. Gonna get it dyno tuned once that's done. I got it specifically for towing, which I haven't had a chance to do yet but everything from stop lights to highway cruising feels a lot more relaxed and the truck working less hard without revving up super high. I would definitely recommend it, though I got my blower used and super cheap.

I would call them. There shouldn’t be any difference between the ‘18 and ‘19.

Yes, the TRD supercharger, designed by Magnuson, was discontinued I believe in 2015. However, you could probably find one on Ebay, possibly.

I'm running out of shit to do to this truck. Need more HP and torque to piss off the Ford/Chevy/Ram fan boys that live around me. What the f was that? Tundra, many like it but this one is mine.

Throw on a Harrop TVS2650, They have them for 2019s. I have one on my 2018, awesome supercharger kit. Yes, more expensive, but they have more power potential.

Harrop has been awesome to work with, plus they have Harrop USA, located in OH.

My Magnuson was delivered and installed for right at $7,600. Still, if I had a 19 I might not be able to wait. Good luck.
