Do you have a picture of where / how you added these? I love the pop n lock but hate that loud "THUNK" every time I lock or unlock the truck.

I'm kinda torn on noises like that. I tend to like industrial sounds like that. But industrial sounds make others think it's broken. I used to daily an LT Bronco with 2.5 triple bypasses that would click loudly. When turning it would also feel like it was about to flip over. I volunteered to drive when me and my co-workers decided to lunch together one day. I could tell everyone was stressed and uncomfortable for the ride. I had to reassure them everything was normal. I was so sad that day. It was then that I knew my youth was over and I could no longer live in my zero fucks given bubble.

I'll get a picture tonight. It's just on the one bolt on the right side of the handle when you have the tailgate down. Don't get me wrong, you still hear it, but it is noticeably quieter.

Yes they will “fix it” at no charge to me but you would still be able to see the damage. Fixing it only prevents it from spreading and it’s going to bug me every time I look at it so just biting the bullet and having it replaced.

Finally had my lift done, well last week. I'm still working on dropping the Carrier Bearing some more. I'll also be ordering a driveshaft extension (I think).

    Maxtrac Spindles
    2" ProComp Coilovers upfront
    3" Block in the rear

Top of the truck measures 82 inches, so I can still fit in the quick touchless car-washer.

Does that squat? I can't tell from the gif. Also, it's making me slightly nauseous.

I'm curious to hear how it turns out with your TSS windshield sensor. I've got a small chip in mine that I repaired. I'd like to replace the windshield, but I know if I had someone do it, something would get dicked up.

Sorry about the nausea. I'll make a better one for the next gif.

There's no squat right now. I plan on getting a 5" leaf pack next summer though.

Finally got my CB working today!
Turns out the Rago ditch mount antenna bracket was the culprit.
I rigged a mirror-mount antenna bracket to the bed rails and grounded it to be extra safe.

I really don’t want to replace it but I can’t look at that chip every day on a 6 month old vehicle.

The TSS sensor won’t be affected, that’s in the grill but after the install they will have to recalibrate the camera which operates the adaptive cruise, collision avoidance and auto dimming headlights. the shop I am having do the work is supposed to be certified for it.....the dealership quoted 3 hours @ $150/hr just for the calibration! The shop that is doing the job said it will take about 3 hours for the entire install including the calibration....no idea how the F!@k they can justify $150/hr labor for anything.

The new glass is supposed to have all the brackets already attached so they should just have to snap the rear view mirror and camera in place and secure it....I’m more worried about air and water leaks than anything but will update tomorrow.

Thanks man! Yes I did the steps. Sanded them down, then primer then the liner. They look so much better now. They have been holding up great 266F68B3-584E-46B4-A57C-775C12BD3D4E.jpg8BD06BE6-1A7C-4625-8B7F-61D57827369A.jpg
