First time with clay, nothing to compare to. It seemed to do the job, smoothed out the rougher areas as needed.

I did some research awhile back on this conversion and it's NOT cheap! I think it was like $1,500 for the lights. And then the harness i believe is around $150. But.. I came across an article that said these new lights don't use replaceable bulbs. So if it goes out, you have to replace the whole headlight unit. Which was crazy to me! But they look awesome man!!!

That's what I thought, just making sure. ha. I just can't seem to justify spending over $1000 for headlights. I could put that into other mods or lift higher. Ha

They do look awesome but I also just can't justify it either. I did switch mine to VLED bulbs and really like it.

can't beat the 18 Sequoias LED on our gen 2. Not only they work a lot better than LEDs in halo housings but they also change the whole front end for a more aggressive up to date gen 2 front end.
I'm hoping they come down in price at some point. You can find some take offs on ebay for $400 ish

They def give a completely different look to the 2nd gen. I thought i read something also that they don't use replaceable bulbs so if any of the lights go out. You have to buy the complete headlight unit again. I'm going to keep looking to see if they come down in price at all. ha

Just changed differential oil at 137k miles
    From factory oil
Got oil from autozone 75w-90 mobile 1
3 quarts of mobile 1 and 1 quart of Lucas something?
When I drained the oil it didn’t look so bad and instead of removing drain bolt I only removed full bolt so vacuumed/ transferred oil out with a harbor freight drill pump. I was going to come up with with some plumbing / tube connections. Luckily I had the perfect unused green stiff tube spiral water hose and just used it to transfer oil out .

Update on the Tundra blower. I received the new Tundra blower, not Sequoia, and installed it. I can't see a big significance in air volume. I do notice a slight increase but not very much. Overall I am kinda happy with it because the old one was making noise so I'm probably going to keep it. Also going to try a minimalist air filter. With the air filter out on the old one vs the new one I can definitely tell it blows stronger. Anyway.. I'm still interested in the sequoia one but I may end up keeping this one and if I do I'll probably never get the sequoia one..

What’s up guys. New to posting one here but been creeping looking for mods.

I bought an 08 SR5 5.7 last October. Had a Tacoma before but needed something bigger for the kids.

So far I have added a shorty antenna, interior LEDs, and a center console organizer.

Looking to start the zero chrome project, new tint, tint tail lights, paracord handles, new HU w/back up cam, LEDs for the headlights (but don’t want to blind peeps), some kind of bed cover, and line the bed. Any recommendations will help.

Also been trying to figure out storage behind the back seats. They are the reclining ones so can’t go under.
