    Hello.
Hailing from southern BC Canada, Gulf Islands.
I recently picked up a 2003 green Tundra AC, V8 4x4, with matching canopy to replace my ‘96 T100 2x4.

It’s my personal vechicle, but I mainly use my truck for work, I’m an independent contractor, primarily doing work for the local Parks and Rec.
The T100 has been a great truck for the last 12 or so years, but I have been finding it’s limits too often, mainly in towing; I can’t believe some of the loads I’ve towed with it, and it always did the job, but pretty slowly and sometimes just barely :)

I was pretty set on a first Gen Tundra because I like the size and available options, it was a natural step up from the T100, it did take a while to find one I was satisfied was cared for and should last for many more years.
The Tundra is a 1 owner, local truck, dealer maintained its whole life. It’s a bit high in kilometres, at around 320k, but given it’s service history I wasn’t deterred. I couldn’t find any scary rust, and the previous owner did occasional rust preventative treatments, fingers crossed. It’s got its share of dings, dents and scrapes, but it’s a work truck. I have a great lumber rack on the T100 that I’m going to transfer over, since they have the same size bed.

I hope to gain good knowledge from this forum, and to share that knowledge when I can.

    Thanks for reading, Ben.
