Welcome to the forum! I personally wouldn't recommend it due to offset properties and the chance that the adapter just adds more stress on your ball joints and control arms. I'm sure there is someone out there who provides them. I just wouldn't take the chance leaving so much space myself.

Those 6 lugs are the exact diameter as the tacomas. Have you entertained the idea of selling them and putting that towards a new set?

i have ran plenty of adapters and spacers on a few different vehicles. my zo6 650 hp vette runs a set. if they are torqued properly and you can deal with the additional offset they are fine. plenty of folks discourage them due to additional stress on front end parts but if torqued properly and inspected they would put no more stress then a similar offset aftermarket wheel.

that said there are a ton of adapter companies, just pick a reputable one.

Anyone know why toyota went from 6 lug to 5?? makes no since. 6 is better than 5 on a heavier truck. I think they don't want us to be able to use tacoma and older tundra wheels.

There's a post on this somewhere. In a nutshell, each of the five wheel studs is thicker than the six studs of the first gens. Together, it was said, the thicker five studs were 35% stronger than the thinner six studs.
