What paint did you use to paint your bed trim? About to do the same to my tundra. Also how has it turned out over the last 2 years?

I went by Discount Tire today and learned the prices they have online are not necessarily correct. I went in there prepared to pay $235/tire for K02's. As it turns out they were actually $200. I then asked if I could get a better price if I bought 5. I ended up getting them for $180 each. Total out the door price for 5 BF Goodrich K02's was $1,099. I feel as though I got lucky again. Always ask for a better price. The worst they can say is no.

    They should be installed tomorrow.

As former member of TS and TT, it's awesome seeing this thread every day. Old owners still doing their thing and newer owners getting involved. PHM posts alone make it worthwhile, rumor has it he is replacing any and all electrical tape on his harness next week.

Plug and play with the OEM plug? Or did you have to make an adaption? You keep the little tweeter up near the handle?

    How they sound?

You gotta cut the wire to the stock speakers. From there, you must strip the ends of the wires and then you have 3 choices. Either tie the wires to the speaker and solder (how they came from the factory), throw on some female blade.style quick connectors, or just wire in the ones provided.with extra wire length using one of those.connect.tunnel things.
    I kept the factory tweeter.
They sound great and for $40/pair at Walmart. I'm happy with em. The fronts.probably took about an hour a piece and the rears.were more like.30.mins a piece. So 3 hour install. But that could probably be knocked down to 2 hours if you're more experienced.

Those shots are high or low beam? Are your fogs working?

Lows (highs work and the beam looked accurate for each on my house) and never checked the fogs honestly. Is there another button for the fogs or should they automatically come on?

Not sure on your year, but the 02’ has a separate button dedicated just to fogs located to the left of the steering wheel near the vent.

All other lights are controlled on the stalk.

These Katanas are amazing. People stare at the lights during the daytime (DTR) as they put off a cool glow. At night they are bright as the sun, but strangely not blinding. A fullness of white light. So far I haven’t been flashed in a couple months having them.

I did tweak them a tad lower as the cut off seemed higher after install compared to the old cut off. Picture is with PerfectFit Fogs (no longer available). Low beam with Fog.

Found the truck already supercharged up in Idaho using "seachcraigslist" which searches all of Craigslist. It was only $3k but wasn't running (and 288k) so took a gamble and purchased it sight unseen over the phone. Ended up spending another $2k to get it here (Florida). The issue was the TRD piggyback system wasn't working correctly (dumping tons of fuel so the truck would start, stumble then shutoff) so upgraded to Unichip. That fixed the immediate issue but there were a few others that I had to address as well as a good bit of maintenance to feel good about driving it.

Ever since cleaning out my heater coils a few months back I’ve noticed the blower noise really quieted down while using heat. Now that the A/C is in use, things really cool off quicker and it works more efficiently. Today was very hot and the A/C was doing better than ever.

I should probably log in to here more often. Eesh! My money has been wrapped up into the Mustang project. It's gotten an entire suspension refresh (H&R Springs, Koni Shocks, Eibach swaybars), RPF1s, Exhaust, Shifter and the plan is to pick up a used set of Corbeau seats for it this week. I've got a full Cobra brake refresh ready for it as well.

[IMG]Untitled by Blake Nichols, on Flickr

The truck hasn't had anything new done other than racking up the miles! I'm looking for a 3rd gen 4Runner rack or a mid 90s Explorer rack for the top of the cap, and then later on this summer it'll be getting a new rear bumper from Victory. I haven't completely neglected it!

Haha, seems to be doing well. Only about 50 miles on her since getting everything squared away. The rims/tires get in later this week and hoping by the beginning of next week this will be the daily so I can stop racking the mileage on the car.
