Appreciate it.. Yeah I actually found them online right after I asked the question, they come with a good amount of wires, but overall looks clean and easy. I have a ton of wires running through my engine bay right now, so Im trying not to make my own rats nest. Also trying to justify $130 for DRLs haha

    Hello Hacker,

I have a 2017 TRD Off Road Limited and I want to swap out the factory headlamps for 2019 TRD Pro headlights. What wiring harness do I need?

I actually just did this swap yesterday on my 2017 limited to the 2019 TRD headlights. Ihacker did an awesome job getting back to me and sending out the harness quickly! The directions were spot on- the only hang up I really had was with de-pinning the gray wire. I didn’t realize that on the connector, you need to pry up a white tab in order to depin. Once I figured that out, it was smooth sailing.

    Thanks for a great product!

Thanks for the intel...am sure that will come in handy. I need to make sure I am ordering the correct harness for my truck. Those black 2019’s look badass.

Yeah I got the “TRD PRO/SR5/LIMITED with factory LED DRL dimming $130” harness. If you send him a DM he won’t steer you wrong.

Sorry, one more question since I haven’t heard back yet...does the $130 include both sides, or do I need to pay $130 x 2?

Yeah that was for everything you need to do the install with both headlights. So just 130, which also includes shipping.

That narrows it down to two harness configurations for you in respect to the daytime running lights (I have a 2017 Limited as well and just did this):
config (#1) - always bright DRL
    config (#2) - dimming DRL

The difference between the two configs is that the dimming DRL config (#2) will dim the DRL LEDs 60% of their brightness when the headlights come on. This is how the stock OEM DRL lights function on the 2018 and 2019 trucks. The other config (#1) will leave the DRLs to their full brightness when the headlights come on. That's really the only difference. Well, that and price. The #1 always bright kit is $110 and the #2 dimming kit is $130.

I'd recommend the dimming (#2) config, personally.

Yes option 2 is plug and play and all done in the hood, but if you don’t want the Amber DRL you definitely have to go under dash and do the Amber DRL Delete basically just depin or clip a wire from flasher relay
