Picked up a backseat full coverage weathertech liner today. Love the fit, but was curious if anyone had these strange finish areas on their mat when they got it. I can’t tell if it’s a repair job to the mat, glue, or something else. It wouldn’t bug me if these mats were cheap. Any reps here want to chime in?

I have this also , i just went to check after reading your post and i didn't see any marks on mine, beside all the dirt that my kids leave. It works great for me I just wipe it down.

Seems weathertech quality has been slipping lately. I have them up front because I got them free, and some off brand full coverage in the rear, again free. if I were to buy, I'd buy husky for sure

No marks like that on mine. I just installed the eagle claw product on my front passenger mat this afternoon to keep it from sliding. Works pretty well.

Those look awesome! Makes me feel cheap for just buying HD velcro from home depot and slapping that under my passenger side weathertech mat. Velcro works fine, but that set up looks way better. Very nice.

Had some on mine when it came but wiped it all down and gone. Nice fit, mine fits all the way under backseat, and they work right fine. Never had any troubles with Weathertech.

Not grease. Won’t come off. Has to be something with the way they finish their mats.

Seems like a great mat as it can’t slide anywhere since it fits so tightly. Just disappointed in quality control on mine. The areas I pointed out are the first thing you see because they are on both door sides

The fit is perfect. Love the mat too. What did you wipe it down with to get the spots to come off? Mine seems like it’s part of the mat. Not sure it’s coming off

I’m hoping to exchange them if they have another one. If not, I’ll return and go another direction just because the marks. If they come apart in those areas it’s a three year warranty vs husky is lifetime

I have weathertech in my current vehicle and love them. I got the flat version rather than the ones with the sidewall only because I was worried about the sidewall folding inwards through time. Never checked out the Husky version. Are there retailers who sell them?

I have the weathertechs and they work great. After a month they will be so dirty you won’t notice the mark.

Amazon. $17.49 for a four pack with the cutter tool. I only used two for the mat which works well. One of the claws broke while trying to seat it into the carpet, so I'd buy just more than you need.
