    I watched a documentary on the SR-71 a few years back. What amazing technology and power to control. When a jet can outrun a ground to air missile...that’s bad ass.

    Yeah no doubt. My paw n law is retired from the chAir Force and he was assigned to an SR-71 outfit for much of his enlistment. He has many stories to tell, but I still gotta punk him when I can. Its a fly boy thing.

    Sunday dinners are rather amusing at my FIL’s house. Air Force enlisted, Air Force Officer, Army, Navy all at the same table talking mass amounts of crap.

    We almost had one of the nephews join the Marines. This would have been the perfect storm. He joined the Army instead, and just graduated boot camp in GA. Very proud of him.

    The little boy (whose been looking out the window) turned to his mother and asked,

    "If big dogs have baby dogs and big cats have baby cats, why don' t big planes have baby planes?"

    The mother (who couldn't think of an answer) told her son to ask the flight attendant.

    So the boy went down the aisle and asked the flight attendant, "If big dogs have baby dogs and big cats have baby cats, why don' t big planes have baby planes?"

    The busy flight attendant smiled and said, "Did your Mother tell you to ask me?"

    The boy said, "Yes, she did."

    "Well, then, you go and tell your mother that there are no baby planes because Southwest always pulls out on time. Have your mother explain that to you."
