Well after agonizing about all the aspects of building out a Toyota Tundra SR5 I finally settled on a formula and went ahead with it. I used the Bilstein 6112 coil overs and the Bilstein 5160 Series Reservoir Shock Absorbers on the rear. I chose the Fuel Anza Gray 18x9 rims and Falken Wildpeak 305/65R18s which require the removal of the front mud flap and a bit of outer wheel well trimming. I also chose the Yakama OverHaul HD Rack system for it's flexibility in use and I threw a Bedrug in the bed.. Having issues with the Velcro on the tailgate but I'll iron it out. I use the rail system to secure my mountain bike so I chose Rockymounts thru axle fork hold downs. You can adapt them to any situation. Well that's it for now.. Of course it's anyone's guess where this will lead me. Seems like there is always something else to apply.20190607_120147.jpg 20190607_143417.jpg 20190607_143410.jpg 20190607_143342.jpg IMG_20190504_101418_938.jpg 20190517_103046.jpg

Came out nice! I need to replace my BedRug velcro on my tailgate. Not a big deal. Usually lasts a year before I have to redo it. $5 at ACE.

Here's something interesting.. I crawled under the truck yesterday because I found two one ounce tire balancing weights on the ground. I noticed that all my rims have these deep gouges running parallel to the rim surface on the back side of the rim and there are two side by side at 15 minutes all the way around the rim, they are about one inch long side by side.. It sort of made me mad. Looks like some sort of machine mark maybe from the tire mounting machine.. Email sent to the Store manager.. it would not be a good thing if I wanted to sell the rims and they cost an arm and a leg.. Anyone have this issue? thanks..
