Looking into the Corsa dB exhaust. I cannot find clips of this anywhere to hear the sound. I can find plenty for the dual-tipped exhaust, but none of the dB with the single tip. Anyone have it or heard it in person? It is supposed to be guaranteed drone-free. It better be for $900 for a cat-back... lol.

Highly recommend that you talk to Keith aka dirtydeeds.

If you don't plan on running headers etc, than you will more than likely lose some low end torque by going with a dual exhaust.

BAMuffler doesn't drone if you install the included resonator and you can't even hear it while cruising. He can make a double, but most would recommend the single exit. Plus its cheaper than the Corsa.

Whether you plan on buying from him or not, he is a great guy and will answer any questions you might have.

It is actually a single pipe, just spilt tube exiting through 2 tips. Like a Y in the last 8-10 inches of exhaust. This is the dual tip:

I will see if dirtydeeds would like to chat me up about it.

I have the Corsa db system and love it. It's quite until you punch it. It has a great tone and no drone at all.

I agree with @ToyotaTundraMike , Keith at @dirtydeeds gave me a crash course and although I might have glazed over a couple times, he had me at helmholtz resonator. Needless to say, I bought the 6" kit. Thanks Keith.

    Thanks for the mentions guys!!

Corsa is a great exhaust company, and their parts are of the highest quality.

What I offer is a system that is a little more aggressive (can be a lot more aggressive) when on the throttle, yet is just as quiet when cruising. And this isn't an exaggeration. Our 8" system truly is just as quiet as Corsa when just cruising down the highway.

All of our 'Standard Systems' use the stock tailpipe. This is REALLY important with a Tundra. Our dual VVTI requires a certain amount of scavenging in the exhaust system to work properly. If this scavenging isn't present when the ECU expects it to be you will see a phenomenon called reversion. This is the opposite of scavenging.

In order for Toyota to achieve this scavenging at lower rpm they had to make really restrictive mid pipes. That's right, they made restriction on purpose!!! With the front of the exhaust system being tiny (2"), it's crazy to make a 3" tailpipe. The loss of low end is present (even if someone says they didn't lose low end torque, they just didn't notice it).

Our stock 2 3/4" diameter tailpipe is a very rare, odd ball size, that's why you see every aftermarket exhaust system using 3" for the tailpipe. 3" is very common.

Our trucks have what, 13% of the pick up truck market?? That's why you don't see any other manufacturer bucking up and making a 2 3/4" tailpipe to keep from losing low end torque. Since I can't make a mandrel bent 2 3/4" tailpipe out of SS, my system reuses the stock 2 3/4" SS tailpipe.

Check out this thread that I started to help guys with quesitons:
