Anyone have pics or info of an Icon Stage 8. Are the brake lines ok from stock? I ordered the kit today but having second thoughts. I don't care about looking cool. I want to upgrade for performance but really didn't want to go very tall. Wondering if I made the right "expensive" decision? Any help would be appreciated. I have a 2014 1794 by the way.

You will be fine with stock brake lines and more then happy with your purchase. You got more then enough suspension to do what you want to do it sounds like. Too much?? That is up for you to decide, I think if the money spent will not put you in a financial burden then you made a great choice. I have the RXT leaf pack in the rear too and at full droop the brake lines do not look too tight to me.

Nice setup. How is the ride when not fully loaded?

Awesome! Thanks JDL17CM4x4 I was going to get a Raptor and after driving a few, I realized I really like my Tundra. I just go off road a bunch hunting and go to Colorado every year. The stock 1794 isn't much of an off road machine so I figured I would turn it in to one. Plus it's almost paid for. Nice rig by the way! Not really about the money but it is expensive. Also going for the Transferflow 46 gallon fuel tank.

With the added droop of the RXT pack It’s a good idea to extend the rear brake lines and add the abs relocation. I did this right before installing the leafs so I don’t know if it is required. Once the leafs are installed, fully droop the rear suspension and check everything.

@Raider0311 i also would recommend the abs relocation kit with @Porschetech29 mentioned. That is if you are changing your leaf pack in the rear

The rear RXT shocks on a low dampening setting like 2 or 3 out of 10 help and it rides pretty good. Not stiff at all. I always have the rack and tent on though so i can not say how the heavy setting on the leaf pack is "fully" empty. I know it will sit pretty damn high if empty.

Thanks JDL17CM4x4. Should I expect a significant ride change after install as far as around town and highway? The shop says it will "ride like a dream" however I can't imagine that it will ride like stock.

here she is! Got it yesterday and love it! As a plus it looks and rides great. Thanks for your insight. Gonna need a little trimming and bigger fuel tank. Totally didn’t need the cdcvalves.

Your truck looks great Jeff, congrats on the awesome upgrade! I can attest, both @Porschetech29 and @JDL17CM4x4 trucks look absolutely amazing. I've chased @Porschetech29 and his truck articulates so well, conquered anything we encountered. I've drooled over @JDL17CM4x4 and assume it performs just as well

Thanks! I love it. I was kinda paranoid hoping I made the right decision. I'll be in Colorado Saturday for 10 days putting it to work!

Starting out west in Ouray. Got some friends that live there and doing some back country off road shenanigans then headed east for mystery destinations till we get to CO Springs as kind of a base camp for 4 days and go on various day excursions. Love that state. Me and fam go every year!

I was totally paranoid but F N A it was worth it! Even the pain of trying to explain to my wife why I'm spending so much:) I put 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on. It rides better than stock which is what the shop said but I thought it was BS. Totally true. I've only put about 400 miles on it (which doesn't take long for me) but an example would be hauling ass down a bumpy dirt road and not feeling anything but hearing the suspension getting worked, also I have to go over a lot of nasty RR tracks on the way to work and watching all the cars and trucks in front of me bounce around like a paint shaker and I feel like I'm driving over hot dogs. It's pretty nice man:broccoli:. It is expensive but they had a 90 days same as cash plan. SF!!! Holler with anymore questions Brother

Thanks for the kind words Jake. Francis has one hell of a set up too that we all drool over haha. Yeah you have to love the suspension when you hit something that would shack the hell out of your truck before and it is smooth as butter.

Happy you love you set up too @Raider0311 .
