I have a Black 2007 Tundra. It was previously used commercially. I need some advice on these minor repair projects.

The dealership technicians told me that the tire pressure sensors are bad and that I need new ones. Should I order them from Toyota directly or could I use some other kind of sensor that works properly?

When I bought the truck, the tailgate cap was missing and I haven't pulled the trigger on getting a new one yet. I was just going to order that part from Toyota directly. Is there a better option for replacing the tailgate cap?

I'm also looking to get some black rims from my truck. Where are some good places to shop for them?

    Thanks

you can buy aftermarket tailgate caps on ebay. cheaper than oem if you are on a budget.

tpms sensors can be replaced with non oem and reprogrammed. costco does it for example when you buy new tires.

black rims. check any vendors we have here.

Methods, SCS, Icon, TRD are all good options.

Tpms can be replaced and reprogrammed, Discount Tire can program them. I broke one this winter, valve stem snapped off in my hand. Personally, I’ll live with the light or put a piece of black tape over it rather than replace the sensor next time. It was $50. Rubber valve stems are cheap and won’t snap off on me again like the solid ones from the TPMS
