You saw it here FIRST!

I work right next to a ton of auto company corporate offices in Orange County. As I was driving in today, I saw a Quicksand Tundra with cool digital camouflage stripes effect on the bedsides. Thinking it might just be a cool aftermarket effect, I then noticed that the license plate was a DIST (Distributor?) tag. Now as I recall, dealerships have DLR on their tags, not DIST, so with the corporate offices near by, I'm thinking that this is a potential sneak peak at some new graphics that may be coming for 2020.

Do a Google image search for "Tundra truck camouflage".

 

In Houston back in November 2018 they did a whole wrap like that it was red with that type of graphics on it on a white CM Tundra. It did not look good.??

 

What got me was they wrapped a brand new truck and put it up for sale?? It just did not seem like the right thing to do??

 

that sand one is hideous but I do like the cement one you made up. particularly the first cement photo. I have seen this on a few cars which are wraps of course

 

Distributor plates are by definition NOT manufacturer plates. Manufacturer plates say "manufacturer." Distributor plates are for aftermarket companies like Shelby, Hennessey, Saleen, etc... so it was probably an aftermarket company, also a lot of in OC.

Well I pulled up next to the same truck again today and talked to the guy at a red light.
Turns out he actually works for TOYOTA and was in a 2019. He said it was vinyl wrap, but I Didn't get to ask if this was "official" graphics before the light changed.

 

I bet it was a 2020 and Toyota has some changes to the body. They do that camo so you really can't see the body lines/changes. That's what the car manufacturers do when they drive a new production vehicle on the streets.
